Sales Executive

Key Data is an innovative hospitality software company dedicated to transforming the revenue management & marketing experience by improving the quality of data available through technology.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for building lasting connections to help destination marketing organizations (DMOs), chambers & conventions and visitors bureau around the globe to enhance their marketing spend and visualize their destination’s core metrics.

This position reports to the CEO and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives.

Our ideal candidate understands how to prospect and build a pipeline as well as sharing our story and the opportunity to reveal how our platform can help optimize a customer’s marketing spend and improve their destination’s core metrics. You back your ideas with industry insight, an in-depth knowledge of customer needs, and company strategy. You are data driven, using multiple sources to help inform your opinions and provide insight to your prospects. You can recite competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in your sleep. You agonize over finding the next potential customer. You’ve worked in an entrepreneurial environment and love building your business while working collaboratively with internal teams to help you be successful. You must be a self-starter.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drives efforts to achieve sales targets and to grow customer base.
Actively prospect in area of specialization in pursuit of new sales opportunities.
Targets potential leads to build sales pipeline using appropriate sales strategies and approaches.
Maintain knowledge of competitors and best practices to strategically position the value of Key Data’s DMO product and services offerings.
Educates the customer on Key Data’s technical capabilities leveraging industry and business knowledge underpinning the customers’ business needs to create demand and persuade through the creation and presentation of compelling purchasing rationales.
Develop proposals, deliver presentations and close the business.
Efficiently leverage leaders, sales teams and partners to seek out new opportunities and close business.
Record all customer/prospect communications and maintain the records in Salesforce.
Provide accurate forecast and pipeline updates as required. Strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency.
Other duties as required by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience selling to DMOs and a knowledge of their RFP process.
At least 3 years’ experience successfully selling inside or outside software or technology (SaaS, etc.), or sales and catering for the hotel industry.
Preferred 3 – 5 years sales experience in the Hospitality industry.
Familiar with value-based and consultative selling strategies.
A hunter with a proven record of bringing in new business revenue.
Strong passion for selling technology to enhance a customer’s business.
Demonstrated ability in problem solving, strong prioritization skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Collaborative team player with the confidence and integrity to earn people’s confidence, internally and externally, and put them at ease.
Be persuasive, persistent, and patient.
Exceptional at networking, initiating and building relationships.
Ability to understand and articulate value propositions.
Ability to analyze the impact of decisions before executing.
Road warrior – this position requires extensive domestic travel, with some international travel.
Computer proficient in email, internet, & all Microsoft applications.

Marketing Coordinator

Key Data is searching for a savvy SaaS marketing coordinator who can work directly with founders to develop and execute on Key Data’s content & inbound marketing strategies. Your expertise will help shape our messaging, brand voice, and our customer adoption roadmap. Key Data is quickly becoming the platform of business intelligence for the resort & vacation rental industry, enabling professional managers to visualize & compare data like never before.

We are looking to build our brand presence through dynamic and high-value content, while continuing to drive growth in our target markets. As part of our small team, you will be responsible for shaping Key Data’s content marketing efforts ranging from our company blog, infographics, social media, white papers, email and more.

You will work directly with our leadership team on our messaging, brand style, and marketing strategies that will generate inbound interest at all points along the sales funnel. We are looking for marketers who are quick to test and scale what’s working while turning off what’s not working. You should enjoy both the analytical and messaging/marketing side and understand how the two coincide. We require people with a strong sense of ownership, who are self-directed and able to accomplish projects independently.

To be considered, you have:

– Strong content marketing experience (designing, implementing, measuring) at a fast paced company (SaaS experience a huge plus)

– Excellent copy writing skills and the ability to articulate marketing messages clearly for decision makers

– Ability to create & refine new messaging to better attract different client personas

– Experience designing & running email marketing campaigns

– Experience developing site content with designers to help guide the visuals, content and overall display of content & messaging

– Experience managing all social media for a brand with an understanding of leveraging social media channels to rapidly develop new messaging & content

– Experience building & pushing white papers to decision makers & end users

Desirable skills include:

– Experience running social media and social media ad campaigns

– Experience using Mailchimp or similar service and running A/B campaigns

– Experience working closely with sales execs & leadership

– Experience working closely with graphic designers

– Data driven mindset

– A love for all things travel

Implementation Specialist

Key Data Dashboard is seeking a talented Implementation Specialist.

Description: Our Implementation Specialist is a member of the Implementation Team and manages activations of new clients as well as plays a vital role in support for our Property Managers (PMs).

Responsibilities: Evaluate accounts and provide recommendations and documentation based on current state with goal of optimizing client success. Activate clients, troubleshoot, working closely with internal teams to ensure optimal performance of integration & utilization. Communicate updates throughout project lifespan with clients and internal stakeholders on various teams. Provide recommendations, policies, and guidelines about performance best practices and work with PMs to ensure understanding of functionality to allow for success.

Qualifications:
• Experience with Excel preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in implementation management, client services project management, or engagement management
• 2-4 years of project management experience; able to successfully manage multiple projects for 20+ clients at varying stages
• Client-centric team player
• Proactive, detailed problem solver who can identify complexities and maintain ownership of processes and issues
• Able to adjust communication for audience and provide appropriate training based on customer technical experience
• Adaptable, comfortable with process and product changes
• Able to self-direct and make good judgments based on information available
• Able to quickly learn new technical concepts and tools
• Experience with Salesforce.com and Hubspot preferred
